If you are a very small LCD TV, which is a nice product. If you have room for a 19 “, by all means I would go for the bigger screen. Please note that even at def out the plethora of digital and high signals there today, / programs, many channels are broadcast in 4:3 format . Since this TV is a 16:9-profile screen, a 4:3-hand side appears to be much smaller on this 15. 6 “screen.
If you However, a narrow space, like on a kitchen table, under cabinets, the TV is perfect. It contained a built-in DVD player, the one is pretty lively. The picture is vivid and HD display is very good. At that size, there is absolutely no reason to go for 1080p. For a 15th 6 “screen, or even a 19″ 720p is fine.

Overall this is a good TV for the price and has many functions that you want. An adjustable stand would be nice but at that size is not a necessity. I’m not sure why the tuner as much as it is lagging, is about 2-4 seconds in between the channels. If you Channel surf often, it will annoy you.
I would have rated a 5 if it was not for the slow tuner.

Since I just bought to kill a space to CRT model, which I did not replace many years of experience. But so far, the picture is clear and bright, there is a DVD player included (which I do not need, but, oh well), and its presence is wee-tiny. . . . . . on my breakfast bar is a godsend. I now have room to spread out the morning paper there. I was careful note reviews of 15 “flat screen TV and even though I think $ 299 pretty high for a small screen, the other cheaper no-names seemed to have bad ratings. I am relying on the reputation of Toshiba and the opinions. The device was delivered amazingly fast from AMAZON and is light as a feather.
I will reserve final ruling for about a year to see how it works that way.
A Case I find remarkable is the very slow change of channels.

This is a nice little device. I think the image is very clear and the sound is not bad, considering the size of the speakers. Very lightweight and has a very good viewing angle, better than some larger LCDs I’ve looked at. The built-in DVD player is simple and works well and the remote is very intuitive and easy to use. The only downside is that you can provide this TV on the wall. Because the DVD player is not compatible with the existing mounting brackets. It has no screw holes for wall mounting.
Other than that it is a great little unit for the money and works well for small spaces.

I am far from being a “techie”, but within minutes of removing this item from the box, plug it into the wall, and installation of an ordinary coaxial cable was, I command a media empire (with nary a glance ) in the manual. Above all, this thing is remarkably light, compact and transportable. Although it was commissioned as a replacement for the aging Emerson 13 “TV in the kitchen, I can do anything I would rather take with me to not think of another room, my desk or on a journey. As is the case with a flat LCD monitor, it does not “play” as big as a cathode ray tube equivalent. (Example: If the effect of your old 27 “big tube TV, you will be a 37″ LCD display – not necessarily just because of the experience issue money, but the brighter, more intense, life-like quality, given the “tube” TVs of the past.), so were the slim profile of this baby, do not be surprised when you find yourself seconds unique-guess whether For the 19 “-20″ model should have originated from.
Still shines when you have this little Toshiba, the chances are you do not want to let it out of your sight. It does not have HDMI inputs – only coax, S-video and 3-color component video. Nevertheless, with a screen this small, clarity and brightness is never a problem. Even with a normal coax connection, the images so sharp and clear as the “enhanced” HD signals at Best Buy or Sears TV department, the vivid colors are even more complex (defined just be sure to get it in permanent “Movie Set” mode – all other settings, press against ) at the cost of paints and colors.

The audio dialogue is acceptable. There is no distortion or “canned” quality, though for listening to Bernard Herrmann score for “Vertigo” (the first DVD I fed) the machine so I could give some consideration to the use of audio “out” for headphones or a HI-FI system. For the most purposes, the sound is just good. The remote is also larger and more friendly than those who are yet to set a cost 5-10 times as much (this is a proposition for which the remote control an unneeded luxury). And I find the channel changes relatively fast for an LCD hi def processor.
In sum, the simplicity, convenience, price and state-of-the-art technology to tell me it’s have a “gadget” – if only because they do not behave like a gadget than a utilitarian necessity. Remember, in order to “move mode” is set (I know, too yellow on most HD sets) which seems like the perfect backdrop for all program types on the baby.

To get my wife and I decide to our TV signals over the air with an antenna. So, with the looming transition to digital-only radio, I decided to just an analog Sharp Aquos 13-inch set with a new, wide-screen replacement model. After much research I decided on the Toshiba. I have some experience with Toshiba products and have had no complaints. I would regard a “brand name” Set for reliability.
We have it for less than a month and are usually with the crowd had fallen. The move to a digital signal is analogue resulted in a much better picture of our older Sharp LCD. The viewing angle is good, which is important to us, how we use this TV on our kitchen table and we sit on opposite sides. < , br />
As others have mentioned is a bit slow channel change, the amount is not swivel vertically and I wish the remote had direct input to a few favorite channels. We have not tried the DVD player and not much plan to use this feature.
Amazon shipped this item quickly and we were very happy with the price.
If you are on the market for a smaller size widescreen TV, I can recommend the Toshiba.
