   yeah most people do want it cause its new. lol. If i ever got a PS3 the first game on my list would be MAG mainly cause of the 256 player multiplayer, but i dont see myself getting one till the price drops a bit more like in the 350 range for their top model

   totally with you on that man, but still, I wanna buy a PS3 console since I really wanna play GTAV and Def Jam Icon; by the way, the actual reason why everyone prefers PS3 over PS2 is just because you always want the latest gadget don’t you think?

    I have ps2 And i don’t care what the video says, because it’s fail!You see it’s not true that new console apperied the older is forgoten. no! the true is that game creators want to create better games so pepole don’t need to buy new console to play the game on better grapchics etc.they create games so everyboy can enjoy!so what that new games never going to show on ps2.you see Clasic is Clasic it’s always the best. if we take mario and other clasics they will win in any fight..Clasics da best!!

    ps3 has some advancements made yet, as you can see, though the ps3 is a very good cosole choice, it lacks some spice when games are talked aboedt…. most of the best games ever reviewed came out on the ps2 console, so as long as the time comes when ps3 can out throw ps2 games (like tekken and god of war), the ps2 is still the best choice of console…

    i can only support EA so much, there main specialty is in sports games im not much of a sports game fan. now games like black (ps2) need for speed, and mercs. 2 where good but i spose there are also worse game developers out there

    my favorite games on PS2 was god of war games 1 and 2 i think that god of war games was the best graphic and cool game on PS2 but now i buyed PS3 and i cant wait too get GOD OF WAR 3 !!!!!!

    naydude go and buy a ps2. PS2 is still one of the leading consoles despite the newer generation. People only look down on it because they are fucking stupid and are fanboys. PS2 has loads of great titles still releasing. PS2 will never die sony still needs it.

    yohanz95 that is wrong. EA makes great games. EA is one of the best game makers in the world until they fucked themselves over several years ago with the release of MOHAA airborne. That is when things start to go downhill, EA just lost his ideas. The only thing that stopped EA from making good games is they probably lost some employees on game production team = lost of good old ideas. Just like square enix lost the game production leader and uematsu.

    I dont personally have a ps3, but do have knowledge on how to make techdemos such as the one shown. The reason the ps2 does not respond is because they did not create a script for the characters specifying such actions. The unresponsive player is due to the lack of any animated structure for that specific movement. Sony just lied to u all. Still i dont blame them any company would inorder to gain sales for the next console. so Microsoft and Nintendo would do the same. Its just buisness.

    PSP2 (PSP 2000) is already out, so as PSP3 (PSP 3000). What your waiting for is PSP4 (PSP 4000).

    Yep, PS2 is a good console plus all its games are extremely cheap. But you will be better of with a PS3 (60gb), you can play PS2 and PS3 games.

    Can you guys PLEASE respond to my question, I know the PS2 is old and all but I am thinking of buying it, IMO it has ALOT of great games to offer, I am worried that it may have gone extint, how long do you think before it dies out?? and is it worth buying now??

    you can but the newer models removed the emotion engine which made it unable to run ps2 disks however you can buy the game online though that is pretty bad and i have a 60gb ps3 i rarely play it though
