Playing Backup Games On Wii Without a Mod- Backup Wii Games

Is there a way to play backup games on your wii without a mod chip? Well everyone would agree, Wii games do easily get scratched, specially when played by children or even adults for that matter. There is no modchip in the Wii, but it has a parallel port cable soldered to the drive board. Many sites claiming to offer solutions for free by squeezing you to a torrent site to downloaded programs which is readily available anyway. I say beware of such sites if you don't know what you are doing. I know people who've signed up, paid their money and got cheated. Most of these sites are a ripoff.

But you can be rest assured with “Homebreware package and software” that helps you do just that and more, without even voiding the warranty.

As far as whether you can backup your wi games and play the back up copies? Well backing up should become a trait in todays digital world. So we don;t have get into a big debate of whether its legal or not. Different people have differnt views. Prevention is better than accidents. lest you end up losing thousands of dollars. But for the records,  it is not illegal in the U.S. to make backup copies of titles you legitimately purchased and own. It is also not illegal to "mod" YOUR Wii. The DMCA explicitly excludes end users. There are some mod chip manufacturers and resellers who have gotten in legal trouble for developing and selling chips which they created using illegally obtained means, and for not complying with a mutually agreed to court order in which they promised to stop, but even so, this law applies only to manufacturers, importers and sellers.

Homebreware is becoming the safest and the common way to to play and backup wii games. This package has lot more features that it sounds like. Homebrew applications called emulators gives you the opportunity to even play classic games from retro consoles such as N64, SNES, Sega Genesis and many more.

However, without "modding" your Wii, was not generally possible until the advent of Homebreware, in order to play your backup copies. But it isnt advisable anymore. I understand there is a way to "softmod" your Wii, if you had bought your console prior to 2007 and have not taken advantage of the upgrade to the software to the 3.0 version, which have discared this function. However Wiis sold in 2007 came with this upgrade and the "softmodding" method no longer works.
So unless you own one of the old firmware in your Wii console and can "softmod" your Wii, the games you download off the torrent sites won't play in your Wii, and neither will backup copies of your own software unless you've installed a "mod chip" in your Wii. You can use Alcohol 120 and other softwares such as Nero and imgburn which are all good for burning and backup your Wii games? Well, unless you have a "modded" console, I've yet to see anyone successfully accomplish this.

You can coolly create backup copies of media you own. I have seen my cousins getting their discs scratched so bad that they become useless. I so made it a practise to copy the wii games. I just don't much want to wreck the wii blobbing in some mod chip untill they are at least easier to replace if it got wrecked in the process.

What is remarkable with Homebrew applications is that they can play backup and import games without any mod-chip or anything that invariably can damage your console if you aren’t lucky. It is undoubtedly the safest method to unlock full protential of your Wii. It doesn’t matter if you want to use imported games, region-coded games, or backup games, Homebreware unlocks your Wii so you can play them all.

Do i see you agreeing with me?
