Canon Camera 450D – Absolute Buy Recommendation!
There are very many good reviews, so I will speak briefly about:
I have the DSLR now been 8 months and have now shot over 11,000 photos. The camera has a great color reproduction and a brilliant picture quality. The 12 megapixels are more than adequate: to print images in poster size is no longer a problem;)
Operation is simple and straightforward menu guidance. The display shows everything in a good resolution. The battery lasts really eeeewig! I still own a Flash Plug (Canon Speedlite 430EX II, highly recommended!), Which requires its own batteries. This means that it may well be that I am over 1000 photos with a (!) Battery creates!
The selection of Canon lenses is on the heaviest. Whether from Canon itself, or from Sigma, Tamron, etc. : the choice is immense. But there are plenty of accessories of any kind for this camera!
By the RAW file format, images can be processed without loss. In addition, the white balance can be changed later what can be incredibly helpful!
About the advantages, I might ever write. But these were already mentioned by others.
Now I come to the (few) disadvantages:
1. The continuous shooting speed is only the first 6 RAW images at 3. 5 images (that) normally. Then the camera, but begins to falter, and the continuous shooting speed decreases . . . shame that after nearly 2 seconds deadline is already at 3. 5 frames / sec. By comparison, the Canon EOS 40D provides 17 RAW? S until it comes to a halt.
2. The ISO range is the Canon Camera 450D at 100 - 1600. Again, I think it's a shame that after 1600 is already final. The Canon EOS 500D creates even ISO 12,800! (However, one must mention here that the noise from ISO 1600 is very high. Still, I think, rather a noisy image than none. )
3. The Canon Camera 450D has no video function. For me personally, this is not a problem because I do not eh wants to film special exclusive photograph:)
4. Almost all Canon? S do NOT folding screen. A great pity in difficult positions
Conclusion:
Although the camera is even longer on the market, I can highly recommend it! Whether for absolute beginners or even advanced amateur.
